Robbery with a knife investigation in Nepean area

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is seeking public assistance to identify a suspect involved in an armed robbery at a business in the 1400 block of Highgate Road on August 5, 2022.
At approximately 12:00 a.m., the suspect entered the store and ordered cigarettes. When asked to pay, he brandished a knife. He fled on foot with the stolen cigarettes.

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service, along with members of the Ottawa Police Services Board, other dignitaries and family and friends, will have a formal Badge Ceremony tomorrow.
A total of 13 Police Constables will be presented with their wallet badge from the Interim Chief of Police, Steve Bell. Fifty percent of the class identifies as racialized, with 31% identifying as women.
