(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service is advising residents that the ‘grandparent’ scam is very active this summer, with 20 reports received in the past 7 days alone. Victims have been defrauded of large amounts of cash, ranging from $10,000 to 30,000.

(Ottawa)— The Ottawa Police Service Central Investigations Unit is investigating a stabbing incident that occurred this morning at approximately 10 am.
A man and woman were having an altercation and a third person, a man who observed this dispute, attempted to separate the two parties.

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Central Investigations Unit is seeking to identify the suspect of an aggravated assault that occurred on July 6, 2022.
