Shooting investigation in the South end: seeking witnesses

(Ottawa) — The Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating a shooting that occurred yesterday evening in the area of Manotick Station Road and Herbert’s Corners Road.
At approximately 7:20 pm on August 11th, 2021, Frontline Officers responded to a call for shots fired.
On scene, Officers located spent shell casings. No one was injured.

Baseline Road collision - police continue to look for the driver and witnesses

(Ottawa) – The Collision Investigation Unit (CIU) is still looking to identify and speak with the driver involved in a collision with a teenage pedestrian on June 11, 2021 at approximately 11:25pm on Baseline Road near Navaho Drive.
Investigators believe that the vehicle may be a black subcompact vehicle and would have sustained damage on the front passenger side.
