(Ottawa) — The Arson Unit is seeking the public’s help with ongoing investigations into three separate fires that occurred this week across the city.
At approximately 2:30am on August 1st, Frontline patrol officers responded to a vehicle fire in the 700 block of Dynes Road. Three vehicles had been set on fire and were severely damaged.

(Ottawa) — The Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating a shooting that occurred in the 1400 block of Caldwell Avenue, last evening.
At approximately 11:15pm on August 2nd, 2021, a 15 year old male suffering from a gunshot wound approached a patrol vehicle in the area requesting help. The man was transported to the hospital by Ottawa paramedics and is now in stable condition.

(Ottawa) – The Homicide Unit has identified all persons involved in a dispute that resulted in the stabbing death of Eric Hewer in the evening of July 26th.
