(Ottawa) — Catalytic converters are an important part of every vehicle; they serve as an exhaust emission control and help reduce pollutants in exhaust gas. Unfortunately, they are also an item that the Ottawa Police Service has noted as a frequently stolen. Catalytic converters are expensive and hold a high resale value.

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Break and Enter Unit would like to thank the public for its help in identifying the suspect in the April 3rd, 2021 commercial Break and Enter that occurred on Rideau Street.

Shooting investigation near Hunt Club and Paul Benoit -- police seeking witnesses and video

(Ottawa) —The Ottawa Police Service Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating a shooting at a vehicle that occurred this morning.
At approximately 5:05am, Frontline Patrol officers responded to a shooting in the area of Hunt Club Road and Paul Benoit Driveway. A blue Honda Civic was seen leaving the area.
Two men in their early 20s, who were in the targeted vehicle, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Suspect to identify in Woodroffe Avenue Robbery

(Ottawa) — The Robbery Unit is looking for public assistance to identify a man involved in a Robbery in the 1500 block of Woodroffe Avenue on March 14th, 2021.
At approximately 11:40pm, a lone man entered a business, assaulted the cashier, and took an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register. The cashier did not sustain serious injuries.
