(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Break and Enter Unit has received several reports of daytime residential break and enters within the last week, in or nearby the Westboro area. These incidents have occurred while residents are home but are either outside or in another area of the house.

Shooting investigation on Seyton Drive - police seeking witnesses

(Ottawa) – Frontline officers responded to a possible shooting in the area of Seyton Drive and Westcliffe Road on Sunday, May 17th.
At approximately 8:12pm, a witness heard several gunshots and then saw a vehicle drive away. Responding officers located shell casings in the area. No one with injuries has been located.
The Guns and Gangs Unit is looking to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the incident.

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Guns and Gangs Unit is asking for the public’s help in locating a man responsible for the May 1st shooting that occurred in the 2000 block of Weldon Drive.
Brandon DESJARLAIS, 20 years old of Ottawa is wanted for the following offences:
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized
- Possession of a loaded prohibited firearm
- Possession of a firearm obtained by crime

Suspect to identify in Champagne Avenue South break and enter

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man responsible for a residential break and enter in the 100 block of Champagne Avenue South, which occurred on April 24th.
At 12:04pm, a man entered a partially open garage door, discarded the orange jacket he was wearing, stole a bike and fled the area.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian man, in his thirties, 5’ 6”(168cm), with dark hair (see photos).
