(Ottawa) – Two Ottawa men are facing several criminal charges following a gun point robbery on Thursday afternoon in the area of Rideau Street and King Edward Avenue.
At about 4:15 p.m., a 22-year-old man was approached by a man he didn’t know, who produced a gun and demanded his money and a pair of newly purchased shoes. The man fled in a Dodge Charger.

(Ottawa)—The Ottawa Police Service would like to advise the public on a rash of theft from vehicles where suspects are either opening unlocked car doors or breaking windows. Since January 1, 2018, there have been 1662 reported thefts from vehicles throughout the city. Over half of those reported incidents occurred within downtown Ottawa.

(Ottawa)— The Ottawa Police Service is asking for assistance in identifying a male suspect in a shooting incident that occurred in the 2400 block of Bank Street, near the intersection of Hunt Club Rd in Ottawa on June 9, 2018.
The incident happened at about 8:20 pm, when a male entered a business and fired several shots. No one was injured as a result.
