(Ottawa) —The Ottawa Police Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating a shooting that occurred yesterday, May 23rd.

At approximately 9:38 p.m., officers responded to the to a building in the 1000 block of Ogilvie Road. A man in his 20s was located with non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital.

Fatal collision on Strandherd Drive: police seeking witnesses

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service is seeking witnesses to a collision involving a pedestrian that occurred on Thursday, May 23, 2024.

At approximately 9:14 p.m., police were called to the intersection of Longfields Drive and Strandherd Drive in response to a collision involving a driver having struck a pedestrian.

The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital, but tragically, succumbed to their injuries.

Man charged in animal cruelty incident

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service has charged a 68-year-old Ottawa man with animal cruelty charges.

At approximately 9:20 a.m. on May 22nd, officers responded to an animal cruelty call in the 400 block of Hazeldean Road.

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service is seeking witnesses to a collision involving a pedestrian that occurred on May 14, 2024.

At approximately 3:20 pm, police were called to the intersection of Baycrest Drive and Walkley Road in response to a collision involving an OC Transpo Bus and a pedestrian.
