Update: McNabb Park investigation now concluded

(Ottawa)—The Ottawa Police Service Homicide Unit has concluded their investigation into a suspicious death on April 12th. Investigators determined that no criminal offence occurred; and as such, no criminal charge will be laid.
The death has been deemed accidental and the victim will not be identified.

(Ottawa) — This afternoon, an observant member of the public in the area of Rolling Meadow Crescent observed a large number of pieces of bread that had been scattered throughout a grassy area that is known to be frequented by locals walking their dogs. Inside the pieces of bread were pills that are believed to contain a poisonous substance that is harmful to dogs.

Prince of Wales and Rideau Valley Drive: Fatal Collision

(Ottawa) — Further to the release issued on Saturday, the Ottawa Police Service Fatal Collision Unit is advising the community that the 24-year-old motorcyclist involved in a collision on May 10th succumbed to their injuries. The next of kin notification has since been completed.
Investigators would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or may have dashcam/doorbell footage of this incident and have not yet spoken to police.
