Shooting investigation in Rural West; police seeking witnesses

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service West Criminal Investigations Section is investigating incidents that occurred in the West end overnight. At approximately 12:45 am police responded to reports of gunshots heard in the 5000 block of First Line Road.

Bullet holes were later located in a window of a residence in the area. One victim, with injuries not from a shooting, was located and transported to hospital.

Suspect to identify in Main St arson

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Arson Unit is seeking public assistance in identifying an individual involved in an arson incident in the 300 block of Main Street on January 23.

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Central Criminal Investigations Unit is seeking public assistance to identify a suspect involved in an assault near Bronson Avenue and Somerset Street W on December 27.
