Suspects to identify in Cumberland Street Robbery

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is looking for public assistance to identify three suspects in a Swarming robbery on Cumberland Street which occurred overnight on October 30th, 2023.

At approximately 12:44 am, a food delivery employee was driving on Cumberland Street when he was tackled off his scooter. The male suspect began to assault the victim and shortly afterward two more suspects engaged in the assault (see video)...

Montreal Road shooting investigation

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating a shooting that occurred this morning.

At approximately 7:25 am, a victim with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound was located in the 1-100 block of Bruyere Street.

Investigators determined that the incident took place on Montreal Road just east of St. Laurent Boulevard between 6:30 am and 7:10 am.

Festive RIDE 2023: Drive sober this holiday season
