Carleton Place man charged with Child Pornography Offences

(Ottawa) — In May 2023, the Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) began an investigation into a man uploading child pornography online. The Unit executed a warrant yesterday and arrested him.
Eric CLOUTIER, 48 years old, of Carleton Place was charged with the following offences:
- Unlawfully Possess Child Pornography
- Breach an order from a sexual offence conviction
He is scheduled to appear in court today.

(Ottawa) —The Ottawa Police Service Fatal Collision Unit Investigators are investigating a fatal collision that occurred on Monday, October 2.
At approximately 10:30 am, officers were called to the area of Preston St. at St. Anthony St. where they discovered a 39-year-old man that had succumbed to injuries.
Investigators would like any dashcam footage of this area between 10:00 – 10:30 am.
