Ottawa Police Services announces 2023 Gala Beneficiaries

(Ottawa) —The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is pleased to announce this year’s Gala beneficiaries.

“It was a very hard choice to make this year, we had so many great applications,” said OPS Gala co-chair Inspector Jim Elves. “But ultimately our decision focused on organizations that were committed to helping our city’s youth.”

Fatal Collision on Donnely Drive, police seeking witnesses

(Ottawa) —The Ottawa Police Service Fatal Collision Unit Investigators are seeking witnesses to a fatal collision that occurred on June 3, 2023.

At approximately 5:45 pm, officers were called to Donnely Drive and Joe Drew Lane in response to a collision involving a vehicle and a motorcycle.

The driver of the motorcycle, a 39-year-old man, succumbed to critical injuries suffered in the collision.

(Ottawa) —The Ottawa Police Service Fatal Collision Unit investigators are seeking witnesses to a fatal collision on June 3, 2023.

At approximately 3:40 pm, officers were called to Carling Avenue near the 417 in response to a single motor vehicle collision.

A 32-year-old man succumbed to critical injuries suffered in the collision.
