Homicide Investigation on Raven Avenue: Charge Laid

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Homicide Unit has charged a man in the shooting death of Michael Quattrocchi on Raven Avenue in June of this year.
Ahmad HAJ-SALEH, 29-years-old, of Ottawa, has been charged with First Degree Murder.
He is scheduled to appear in court today.

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Homicide Unit is seeking assistance from residents and business owners in the area of Farmers Way.
Investigators are requesting that all residents and business owners in the area of Farmers Way, Anderson Road, Thunder Road and Piperville Road verify their video security systems for any suspicious activity between the hours of 2:00 am and 4:00 am on August 19th.

Arrests made in Booth Street Homicide

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Homicide Unit has arrested two youths in connection with the July 19th Booth Street fire, which resulted in the death of 17-year-old Hussein Hamam.
The two youths, who cannot be named as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act, are each charged with the following:
- Manslaughter
- Arson causing bodily harm
- Possession of incendiary material
They are scheduled to appear in court today.
Caldwell Avenue Homicide – suspect arrested

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service has arrested and charged 21-year-old Tyler LEONARD-MACLEOD in the shooting death of 19-year-old Zachary Tiglik that occurred on June 29th in the 1500 block of Caldwell Avenue.
LEONARD-MACLEOD will be appearing in court today.
