Charge laid: Carousel Crescent Homicide

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Homicide Unit has charged a man following an investigation of the stabbing homicide in the 2700 block of Carousel Crescent last evening. This is the sixth homicide in Ottawa in 2023.

The victim has been identified as 74-year-old William Bryant. 

Today, Ahmed ISMAIL, 44 years old, of Ottawa was charged with Second-degree murder.

A fourth person charged in ongoing Homicide Investigation in Orleans

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Homicide Unit has charged a fourth person in connection with the murder of Kyle Andrades.

 Katherine MCRAE, 36 years old of Ottawa, has been charged with Accessory after the fact to murder.
