Assault Investigation: Ogilvie Rd

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service has laid multiple charges in relation to an assault that took place on September 8th on the 2000 Block of Ogilvie Rd. near Gloucester High School.

Through a complex investigation involving the Robbery Unit and Youth officers, six youths have been charged with multiple hate-motivated offences including robbery, conspiracy to commit and indictable offence and intimidation by violence.

Update: Man charged with two unprovoked assaults against women

(Ottawa) – Ottawa Police Service East Criminal Investigation detectives charged an Ottawa man in relation to two unprovoked assaults on September 13 and 16.

Ahmed MOUYED, age 28, is charged with two counts each:

Aggravated Assault

Assault with a Weapon

Possess Weapon Dangerous

And one count of Wear disguise

He is appearing in Show Cause court on October 1, 2022.

Police investigating fatal pedestrian collision on Walkley Road

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Saturday, October 1, 2022   10:40 am

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Collision Unit is investigating a fatal pedestrian collision that occurred on September 30, 2022. 

At about 9:30 pm Frontline patrol officers responded to the collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on Walkley Road neare Colliston Crescent. A 56-year-old pedestrian succumbed to his injuries.
