Serious collision on Carling Avenue, police seeking witnesses

(Ottawa) —The Ottawa Police Service Fatal Collision Unit investigators are seeking witnesses to a collision that occurred on September 30th, that resulted in serious injuries.
At approximately 8:30 am, officers were called to the area of Carling Avenue and Saigon Court in response to a collision involving a vehicle having struck a youth on a scooter. The youth was transferred to hospital after suffering life-threatening injuries.

(Ottawa)—The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is seeking public assistance to identify a suspect in a personal robbery.
On Thursday, September 19th, just after 7 pm, a suspect boarded a bus at Tunney’s Pasture and travelled to Bayshore.
Once at the Bayshore bus stop, the suspect assaulted a woman on the bus and took her belongings.
The suspect exited the bus and was seen running towards an apartment building on Woodridge Crescent.

(Ottawa)— The Ottawa Police Homicide Unit has charged a 25-year-old male with Dangerous Driving Causing Death in relation to the death of a female cyclist. On September 24th at approximately 2:30 am, Chanel Charette, 33 years old, who was on a bike, was in a collision with a vehicle driven by an individual. The woman left the scene and attended the hospital where she passed several days later on September 26th.
