Seeking witnesses in Prince of Wales Drive collision investigation

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Collision Investigation Unit is investigating a collision that occurred on Prince of Wales Drive at the intersection of Lodge Road, April 10th.
At approximately 4:35pm, Frontline patrol responded to motor vehicle collision involving a green 2020 Nissan Qashqai and a green Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle. The motorcycle rider suffered severe but non-life-threatening injuries.

We are highly trained to deal with some bad situations so we can achieve the best outcome. When someone calls 911, it’s probably because they are having one of the worst experiences they have had. I must be the calm and reassuring voice on the phone, no matter what is happening. Sometimes the ten minutes I’m on the phone waiting for officers to arrive feels so long, but it’s what I do in those minutes to help the caller and officers that counts.
