(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service continues to investigate a shooting that took place at approximately at 11:20PM on the 8th day of January, on the 300 block of York Street. There were no injuries sustained and it is believed to have been a targeted shooting. The investigation has revealed that one bullet penetrated a residence window and narrowly missed an occupant of the house. This occupant was not believed to be the intended target.

(Ottawa) – Frontline Patrol Officers responded to a shooting near Iris Street and Southwood Drive on January 5th.
At approximately 7:40 pm, a witness heard several gunshots and called 9-1-1. Responding officers located casings in the area. Officers later located a damaged vehicle. No one with injuries was located.
