Suspect to identify in Centrepointe Drive Armed Robbery

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is looking for assistance from the public in identifying a male suspect involved in a commercial armed robbery in the 100 block of Centrepointe Drive.
On Wednesday, February 04, 2020, shortly after 12:50pm, a male suspect, wearing a disguise, entered a business, approached an employee, pointed a gun and demanded money. The suspect then fled the area. No one was injured.

Police team work helps nab joy riders endangering public safety

Just after 9:30 am on January 30, Ottawa Police were looking for a vehicle that was the subject of a traffic complaint on Portobello Blvd in the east end.
The officer tried to pull the vehicle over but the driver refused to stop and they became engaged in a pursuit.
When the suspect’s vehicle reached high speeds on Innes Road, the police pursuit was called off to minimize danger to the public.

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Break and Enter Unit is seeking the public’s help to identify the suspect of a break and enter that occurred in the 600 block of Bank Street on January 21, 2020.
