Shooting investigation on Willow Creek Circle

(Ottawa) –The Ottawa Police is investigating a shooting inside a residence in the 100 block of Willow Creek Circle that occurred at 4:30am on January 1, 2020.
No one was injured. Three people were arrested and have been released. There are no outstanding suspects.
Investigators are looking to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the incident.

(Ottawa)–The Ottawa Police Service has received multiple calls regarding people venturing out onto the ice this past weekend and is reminding residents of the many dangers that may arise due to thin ice.
Even though temperatures have been below zero, the ice remains thin in many areas and presents hidden dangers.
The Marine Dive and Trails Unit is offering safety advice to keep Ottawa residents out of danger:

Fatal Collision on Woodridge Crescent

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Collisions Investigation Unit is investigation a collision between an OCTranspo Bus and a pedestrian that occurred at 10:49pm on Friday December 27, 2019 in the 1-100 block of Woodridge Crescent.
The pedestrian, a 53 year old man, suffered life-threatening injuries and succumbed to his injuries on scene.
The investigation is ongoing at this time.
