Multiple weapons charges laid - firearm recovered at a collision scene on Baseline Road

Ottawa – The Ottawa Police Service West Criminal Investigations Section has charged a man following a collision where a firearm was recovered on February 27th.
At approximately 1:15 am, Frontline Patrol officers responded to a single vehicle collision at the intersection of Baseline and Cobden Roads. The driver was seen attempting to flee on foot and witnesses contacted police. A firearm was located and seized by responding officers.

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Central Criminal Investigations Section is seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a stabbing incident in the 100 block of Rideau Street on February 20th.

The cruiser consists of an all-blue vehicle with white vinyl panels installed on the front and rear doors.
