Champagne Ave S shooting investigation

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service is investigating a shooting that occurred today in the 100 block of Champagne Ave S.
At approximately 1:15 pm, police responded to an apartment building in response to a shooting.
On scene, a 33-year-old man was located. He was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries.

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service West General Investigative Section is seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a stabbing incident in the 1400 block of Woodroffe Avenue on January 13.
At approximately 4:30 pm, the victim and suspect engaged in a verbal altercation in a local store. When the victim exited the store, he was stabbed.

(Ottawa) — Last year, the Ottawa Police Service D Platoon ByWard Market team completed a Bike Initiative, recovering 56 bikes, and also conducted a survey with 60 persons who had been victims of a bike theft.
