Shift supervisor Dominique Creamer was working the night shift in the 911 Communications Centre on Wednesday, May 3, when a call was received from the Sheriff at Garfield County Sheriff’s Office in Utah.
The information provided was that a Canadian woman was lost in the backcountry of a canyon in Utah. This woman was in great danger as a storm was approaching.

(Ottawa) —The Ottawa Police Service Fatal Collision Unit investigators are seeking witnesses to a collision Sunday May 14, 2023, that resulted in serious injuries.
At approximately 11:25 am, officers were called to a commercial parking lot in the 2600 block of Innes Road in response to a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.
The 61-year-old pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries and remains in critical condition.
