(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit is providing an updated photo to ensure the public has a current description of 58-year-old John David COON.
Police are concerned there may been more condition breaches and are asking for the public’s assistance.

Seeking Witnesses to West-End Hit-and-Run
(Ottawa) – Investigators are seeking witnesses to a road rage incident resulting in a hit and run near the 1000 block of Palladium Drive near Cyclone Taylor Boulevard.
On December 14th at 10:00 pm, two men engaged in an altercation. A passenger in one of the vehicles attempted to put an end to the altercation however was struck by the driver before fleeing.

Man charged in hate-motivated incident in Barrhaven area

(Ottawa) —The Ottawa Police Hate and Bias Crime Unit has charged a 57-year-old man in relation to an assault at a commercial business that occurred on November 6, 2022.
The accused was heard making xenophobic/Islamophobic remarks during the incident.
He has been charged with assault, mischief and causing a disturbance.
He is to appear in court on the Feb 8, 2023.
