Sharp increase of Vehicle thefts in Ottawa – How to better protect your vehicle

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police would like to advise residents of a noted sharp increase of vehicle thefts over the last month where thieves mainly target newer models Honda CRV (SUV). 

Over 230 vehicle thefts have been reported so far this year compared to half that number for the same period in 2021. In the last two weeks alone, a total of 21 Honda CRV were reported stolen.

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit is advising the community that they are looking into a series of indecent acts occurring in the Sandy Hill area.

Ottawa Police investigation into RCMP V-Division November 2021 officer involved shooting has been concluded

(Ottawa) – On November 7th, 2021, the RCMP V-Division asked the Ottawa Police Service (OPS) to conduct a criminal investigation into an incident that occurred over the two-day period of November 6th and 7th, 2021 in Rankin Inlet.
