(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is looking for help in identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery that occurred at a business located in the 5000 block of Mitch Owens Road on May 16th.
At approximately 6 pm, the suspect entered the location with a gun demanding cash. An undetermined amount of Canadian currency was taken. He then threatened the clerk to shoot him if he called police and fled on foot.

Ottawa—The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is pleased to announce that its Communications Centre is using the What3Words app to help in locating missing persons.
“Every year the Ottawa Police responds to roughly 2,000 calls for missing persons,” said Inspector Russell Lucas. “This will give us a vital boost in locating people more quickly.”

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit is advising the community that they are looking into a series of indecent acts occurring in the Sandy Hill area.
