Ottawa Fire Services were on Albert Street recently to put out a fire in an encampment area. As they worked, a man overcome by the loss of his belongings and other issues heavily weighing on him, climbed a tree with a rope, intending to hang himself.

(Ottawa) – A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for the arrest of an individual in relation to a homicide on York Street on July 5th.

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating a shooting in the 300 block of Richelieu Avenue this afternoon. No one was injured.

A 911 call came into the Ottawa Police Communications Centre at about 6:30 am on June 16 about a pedestrian on the highway.
