(Ottawa) – Today marks the five-year anniversary of the disappearance of Tara Sculptor, who was 34 years old at the time of her disappearance.
The Missing Persons Unit and her family are renewing their call for the public’s help.Tara is described as a white woman, 5’6” (168 cm), 180 lbs (82 kgs), with scarring on her face and body. At the time of her disappearance, she had auburn-coloured shoulder-length hair and green eyes.

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Central Criminal Investigative Section is seeking witnesses to an assault that occurred on the southwest corner of the Vanier Parkway and McArthur Avenue intersection on May 6th.
At approximately 9:30 pm, the suspect and victim had an interaction in which the suspect became aggressive and assaulted the victim and left them unconscious on the ground before fleeing the area on foot.

(Ottawa)—The Ottawa Police Service responded to multiple demonstrations today, including on Uplands Drive, Elgin Street, and Wellington Street.
