Seeking witnesses: Assault in the 2100 block of Carling Avenue

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service West Criminal Investigation Section is seeking witnesses to an assault that occurred in the 2100 block of Carling Avenue on May 22nd.
At approximately 2:15 pm, police responded to a call of an individual who had been assaulted after a verbal altercation with the suspect. At the time of the altercation, the victim was waiting for the bus.

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) received an anonymous tip on May 23, 2024, from Cybertip.ca. As a result, a 39-year-old Ottawa woman was arrested yesterday for the following offences:
- Making child pornography
- Agreeing or arranging a sexual offence against a child
She is scheduled to appear in court today.

(Ottawa) —The Ottawa Police Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating a shooting that occurred yesterday, May 23rd.

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service is seeking witnesses to a collision involving a pedestrian that occurred on Thursday, May 23, 2024.
At approximately 9:14 p.m., police were called to the intersection of Longfields Drive and Strandherd Drive in response to a collision involving a driver having struck a pedestrian.

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service has charged a 68-year-old Ottawa man with animal cruelty charges.
At approximately 9:20 a.m. on May 22nd, officers responded to an animal cruelty call in the 400 block of Hazeldean Road.
