Suspect to identify in two commercial robberies in Orleans

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is seeking public assistance to identify a suspect responsible for two robberies in the 1900 block of Trim Road.
At approximately 5:00 am on January 7 and at approximately 3:30 am on January 10, the suspect entered the store armed with a firearm and made demands for cash and cigarettes. He then left the area on foot.
No one was physically injured in either robbery.

Fatal Collision on Highway 174 near Peter Harkness Lane

(Ottawa) —The Ottawa Police Service Fatal Collision Unit is investigating a fatal collision that occurred on Wednesday January 10th.
At approximately 5:30 pm, officers were called to reports of a two-vehicle collision on the 174 near Peter Harkness Lane.
One of the drivers, an 85-year-old man succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The other driver was transported to the hospital with non-threatening injuries.

(Ottawa) —The Ottawa Police Service Fatal Collision Investigations Unit is seeking witnesses to a fatal collision that occurred yesterday, Tuesday, January 2.
At approximately 4:55 p.m., officers were called to the 1600 block of Bank Street in response to a collision involving a motor vehicle and an elderly pedestrian.

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service is seeking public assistance to identify a suspect responsible for a robbery in the 200 block of Rideau Street on December 12th.
