Charges laid in Presland Road Arson

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Arson Unit has charged a woman following a fire in the 200 block of Presland Road this week.

On Tuesday, February 21, at approximately 5:30 pm, officers were called to the area in response to a fire in an apartment building.

The fire caused significant damage and left several residents without shelter.

Suspect to identify in West end commercial robbery

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is looking to identify a suspect involved in a commercial robbery on January 4th in the 1800 block of Baseline Road.

At approximately 5:30 am, a lone male entered the store and demanded that the clerk hand over cash. No weapon was used.
