(Ottawa)—May 22-28 is Safe Boating Awareness Week and the Ottawa Police would like to remind residents of the importance of boating safety and provide tips to ensure safety on the waterways. The Marine, Dive and Trails Unit will do a Water RIDE on May 22nd to raise public awareness and enforce safe boating practices.

As a survivor of sexual assault, your medical and emotional needs are most important. There are supports in our community to help you recover and get you back to the person you were before this happened to you.

(Ottawa) —The Ottawa Police Service Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating a shooting at a vehicle that occurred this morning.
At approximately 5:05am, Frontline Patrol officers responded to a shooting in the area of Hunt Club Road and Paul Benoit Driveway. A blue Honda Civic was seen leaving the area.
Two men in their early 20s, who were in the targeted vehicle, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

(Ottawa) — The Robbery Unit is looking for public assistance to identify a man involved in a Robbery in the 1500 block of Woodroffe Avenue on March 14th, 2021.
At approximately 11:40pm, a lone man entered a business, assaulted the cashier, and took an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register. The cashier did not sustain serious injuries.
