Ottawa— The Ottawa Police Service (OPS), Ottawa Fire Services, Ottawa Paramedic Service and their Ottawa Drowning Prevention Coalition (ODPC) partners are urging all residents to practice water safety when they are on, in or near water this season.

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Guns and Gangs Unit is still seeking public assistance to locate a wanted man in relation to the shooting incident in the 400 block of Dalhousie Street on February 11th, 2021.
Jama ROBLE, 30 years old, of Ottawa is described as a black man, 6’1 (185cm), 214 lbs (97kg), with black hair (see photo).

Officers made a young girl’s dream come true when they swore her in as a ‘police officer for a day’ on April 4.
Marnie Geniole was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2016. After several operations, including three stem cell transplants that required several months in hospital at Sick Kids in Toronto and CHEO in Ottawa, she was cancer-free in 2018.
More than anything, Marnie wants to be a police officer when she grows up.

A bike enthusiast who will be known as ‘B.V.’ for the purpose of this story, was happy to get his favourite bike back after it was found downtown by an alert police officer.
