(Ottawa)— The Ottawa Police Homicide Unit has charged a 25-year-old male with Dangerous Driving Causing Death in relation to the death of a female cyclist. On September 24th at approximately 2:30 am, Chanel Charette, 33 years old, who was on a bike, was in a collision with a vehicle driven by an individual. The woman left the scene and attended the hospital where she passed several days later on September 26th.

(Ottawa)—The Ottawa Police Service Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating a shooting in the 1300 block of Trenton Avenue that occurred on Tuesday, September 24.
Police responded to numerous calls of a shooting in the area at about 11:25 p.m.
Upon arrival, there was evidence of multiple shots having been fired at a residence. There were no injuries.

Suspicious incident at a school in the 200 block of Glebe Ave

(Ottawa) — At approximately 12:00 pm on September 24th, the Ottawa Police Service received a suspicious incident call involving two people to a school in the 200 block of Glebe Avenue.
The school was put into lockdown.
Officers located and arrested two youths on scene. They were taken into custody without incident. Classes resumed after the incident.
