(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Fraud Unit is warning of a new fraud scheme targeting businesses and hotels in the Ottawa area.
The incidents reported all follow the same pattern: a fraudster, usually male, will call the business claiming to be the owner or manager stating that there is an urgent need to pay a bill related to the business. (Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in robbery in the 300 block of Queen Street on February 20th.
At approximately 12:20 am, the lone suspect entered an underground parking garage, assaulted the victim and stole their vehicle. The vehicle was recovered a short time later.

(Ottawa) —The Ottawa Police Service Break and Enter Unit is seeking public assistance in identifying two suspects and a vehicle involved in a break and enter on January 26th.
At approximately 8:20 pm on January 26th the two suspects gained entry to an apartment building in the 600 block of Bathgate Drive.
The suspects stole a large number of contractor tools and fled the area in a white Mazda 3 hatchback with chrome rims.

(Ottawa)— The Ottawa Police Service Hate and Bias Crime Unit is advising that the suspect has been identified.
A 58-year-old man, of Ottawa, has been arrested and charged with assault and mischief. He is scheduled to appear in court today.
