Man Arrested Following Graduation Disruption - with corrections

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police have arrested one man following an assault of a security guard at a downtown convention centre.
On Sunday morning, several individuals disrupted a university graduation ceremony being held at the Shaw Centre.
As the individuals were being removed, an individual used a noxious substance on a security guard. The security guard was seen by paramedics but she did not require hospitalization.

Carp River Drowning Investigation

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service is investigating the tragic drowning death of an 11-year-old boy who was pulled from the Carp River yesterday evening.
The boy was with a friend at the Carp River Conservation Area when he somehow entered the water just before 7 p.m.
The friend called 911 and emergency workers.

(Ottawa)— The Ottawa Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Brady Alan Newbold. He was last seen in the Barrhaven area.
Police are concerned for his well-being.
He is described as a white male, 6’2”, with short dark hair and beard. Currently, no clothing description available.
