Clarence Street assault in August - police seeking witnesses

(Ottawa) — Frontline officers responded to an assault in the 100 block of Clarence Street on Saturday, August 15th.
Between 1:30 and 2:10 am, a group of 3-4 men approached a male and assaulted him. The victim suffered a serious but non-life threatening injury.
Investigators are looking to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have information regarding the incident.

Man charged in Daly Avenue Arson

(Ottawa) – Frontline Patrol Officers responded to a break and enter in the 100 block of Daly Avenue on October 1st.
At approximately 3:00 am, a man broke a window in a residential building, entered the building and poured gasoline on the floor. Witnesses were woken up by the sound of glass breaking and saw the suspect leave the area.
At approximately 4:00 am, another witness woke up to the smell of gasoline and called 911.

(Ottawa) – Frontline officers responded to a home Invasion in the 1-100 block of Whitestone Drive on September 10th.
At approximately 10:42am, two men pointed a gun at the homeowner, who had just arrived home, and forced him to enter his property.
