Update: Changes to Ottawa Police non-urgent services – new Police Reporting Unit hours

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Wednesday, April 1, 2020 8:15am
(Ottawa)—Effective today, the Police Reporting Unit will be open and available to take public calls from 8:00a.m.to 10:00p.m. (7) days a week at 613-236-1222, extension 7300.
Starting July 15th, the Unit will operate from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. until September 1st.

Shooting investigation on Bronson Avenue - police seeking witnesses

(Ottawa) –The Ottawa Police is investigating a shooting at the intersection of Bronson Avenue and Catherine Street that occurred at 9:19pm on March 26th.
No one was injured and no property was damaged.
Investigators are looking to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the incident.

Update: Three people involved in an Assault causing bodily harm have been identified

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service West Criminal Investigations Section to thank the public for their assistance. The three people involved in an assault causing bodily harm on Earl Grey Drive have been identified.
