Fatal fire investigation on Torcastle Way

(Ottawa) – Frontline officers attended the 1 to 100 block of Torcastle Way at approximately 11:28am today to assist Ottawa Fire and Paramedics Service with a working fire. One person was located deceased at the scene and another was treated for minor injuries.

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service has charged a man in relation to the theft of a vehicle that led police in a short pursuit on Monday evening.
On March 16 at approximately 10:26pm, police received a call for a motor vehicle and attached trailer that had just been stolen in the West end of the City. Frontline officers located the stolen vehicle and trailer driving erratically on Carling Avenue at Dow’s Lake Road and engaged in a pursuit.

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service West General Investigation Section is asking for public assistance to locate a suspect involved in an aggravated assault incident.
On January 4, 2020, a man was assaulted by another man at the intersection of Ottawa Road 29 and Keatley Road. The victim suffered extensive injuries and was subsequently hospitalised.

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Break and Enter Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest in a residential break and enter that occurred in the 1400 block of Blackheath Street in Orleans.
