The selection was based on the resume outlining extensive volunteer work and an essay outlining knowledge of the Ottawa Police Service’s community policing philosophy.
The Chief of Police would like to honour Councillor Eli El-Chantiry with a Special Recognition for his service as both a Member and the Chair of the Police Services Board from 2003 to 2018.
