38 bikes recovered on Catherine Street by the Centretown Neighbourhood Resource Team & Frontline Patrol Officers
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Monday, November 9, 2020 1:30pm
(Ottawa) – Centretown Neighbourhood Resource Team (NRT) Officers and Frontline Patrol Officers were conducting proactive patrol on November 7th when 37 bikes were located at an address in the 400 block of Catherine Street. Patrol Officers had previously seized another bike linked to this seizure, totaling 38 bikes recovered.
As a result of this initiative, two stolen bikes were returned to their rightful owners that night and another 35 bikes were seized and are being itemized at this time to see if owners can be identified and located.
No charges have been laid at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
