Arson Unit seeking assistance into fire investigations in Blackburn

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Arson Unit is seeking the public’s help into an investigation of a series of fires that occurred in the 2300 block of Orient Park Drive and 2700 block of Innes Road yesterday morning.

At approximately 1:00am on June 29^th, frontline officers responded to three separate small garbage fires. They were all extinguished and there was minor property damage.

There are currently no suspect(s) for these fires however investigators believe that the incidents are related.

Investigators are asking residents in this area who may have video surveillance or doorbell camera footage, or anyone with information about these incidents to contact the Arson Unit at 613-236-1222 ext. 3771.
