Arson Unit seeking witnesses to fire in Little Italy

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Arson Unit is investigating an arson that occurred in a commercial building in the 500 block of St. Anthony Street early this morning.

At approximately 2:00 am, officers attended a fire in the 500 block of St. Anthony Street, this was a tiered response with Ottawa Fire Services.

There are no reported injuries at this time.

Police are looking for anyone with dash camera or video surveillance footage of suspicious activity in the area of Preston, St. Anthony, Louisa and Young Streets between 1:30 am and 3:30am on September 20^th.
