Assault Investigation: Ogilvie Rd

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service has laid multiple charges in relation to an assault that took place on September 8th on the 2000 Block of Ogilvie Rd. near Gloucester High School.

Through a complex investigation involving the Robbery Unit and Youth officers, six youths have been charged with multiple hate-motivated offences including robbery, conspiracy to commit and indictable offence and intimidation by violence.

Ottawa Police continue to review any bias or hate aspects of this case.

Investigators worked closely with school board staff as well.

The Ottawa Police Service continues to support the victim and thanks the public for its assistance.
