Calling all local charities: Apply to be the beneficiary of the 13th annual OPS Gala

(Ottawa) - The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is pleased to announce that it is now accepting applications for its 13^th annual Gala to be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the Shaw Centre.

To qualify, your organization must be:  

• A registered charity; and
• Provide services to Ottawa residents.

We invite those who qualify to fill out the application form at ottawapolice.ca/Gala before 4 p.m. on Friday, March 31, 2024, and let us know about the important work you are doing in the community.

The Gala provides the OPS with a chance to strengthen ties within the community by sponsoring charities that are focused on improving the well-being of Ottawa's communities.

Last year's Gala raised over $59,000 for The Roberts Smart Centre and The Door Youth Centre. Since its inception, the Gala has raised over $1 Million dollars for local charities.
