Collision involving Ottawa Police cruiser

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service is investigating a collision that occurred this afternoon at the intersection of Woodroffe Avenue and Fallowfield Rd.  

At approximately 4:22pm, police responded to a three-vehicle collision. One vehicle was a police cruiser. One officer suffered minor injuries. The driver of the second vehicle was transported to hospital as a precaution only.

The investigation is ongoing; the roads have since re-opened. Anyone with information is asked to contact the West Division Staff desk at 613-236-1222, ext. 2912.
