Requesting public assistance in Orleans explosion investigation
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Friday, March 10, 2023 3:15 pm
Ottawa — The Ottawa Police Service Arson Unit is looking for the public’s assistance in locating the two tankless water heaters that were stolen from the addresses on Blossom Pass Terrace involved in the explosion that occurred on February 13th, 2023.
There is a possibility that these appliances were damaged during the theft and may not be functioning properly thus causing a danger to the occupants of the dwellings they have been installed in.

The tankless water heaters are made by Rinnai, the model number is RU 160-182106. The specific serial numbers for the stolen and possibly damaged units are 21PE.BA-095999 and 21PE.BA-096017.
