Dangerous Driving Investigation: Police Seek Witnesses

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service is asking for the public’s assistance following a year long investigation into an alleged dangerous driver in the city.
The West General Assignment and Traffic investigators have received complaints related to incidents that have occurred on roadways, Highway 417, and other locations.
The vehicle has been observed driving at high rates of speed, posing a serious danger to the public.
The driver also posted videos to social media of these dangerous acts.
The vehicle is originally a 2016 white BMW 2-door coupe but recently has been painted a plasti-dipped purple.
Today, Mohammad SHOHIB, 24, of Gatineau was arrested and charged with:
- Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
He is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow.
Investigators would like to speak with anyone who may have witnessed this driver or vehicle driving dangerously, or who may have dash-cam video of any of the incidents.
