Donald Street stabbing suspect to identify
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Thursday, April 16, 2020 11:00am
(Ottawa)– Ottawa Police Frontline officers responded to a call concerning a man who had just been stabbed in the 1000 block of Donald Street on Sunday, April 12 at approximately 8:14pm.
Officers learned that a man approached the victim who was taking out the garbage and stabbed him in the lower abdomen before fleeing the scene. The victim, a 26 year old man, was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No weapon was recovered.
The suspect that was wearing a black mask with eye slits is described as a Caucasian man, 6’1” (185cm), wearing black clothing and ankle height shoes. He had a full sleeve tattoo on his left arm. He is considered armed and dangerous. If seen, call 911 and do not approach.
